Pelham police drone footage shows aeri view of Friday snow

The Pelham Police Department used their drone they call 'AirView1' to record video of Friday's winter weather in Pelham. 

The videos show aerial images of the snow-covered city.

The drone also took Twitter users above the treeline to view the soft, white blanket of snow on the trees.

Inches of snowfall reached the double-digits for some areas Friday, with the National Weather Service in Birmingham reporting 10 inches of snowfall. 

The snow even reached Mobile, where recorded snowfall Friday night set records, forecasters say.
