Doug Jones' campaign getting last-minute push from Jason Isbell, Cory Booker, Dev Patrick

In the final weekend before Tuesday's special election, music stars and political rock stars will be boosting Doug Jones's Senate campaign with stops in Selma, Montgomery, Birmingham and Huntsville on Saturday.

Selma Mayor Darrio Melton and former Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick will be campaigning with Jones in Selma in the afternoon, while the Democratic Senate candidate will be joined by New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker and Rep. Terri Sewell, D-Birmingham, for a get-out-the-vote rally at Alabama State University in Montgomery at 5 p.m.

Capping the day will be two concerts. Isbell is scheduled to perform for Jones supporters at SideTracks Music Hall in Huntsville at 6 p.m.

At 7 p.m. in Birmingham, Jones and his wife, Louise, are scheduled to appear with soul band St. Paul & the Broken Bones, who are set to perform at Boutwell Auditorium.
