An investigation is underway after a deadly shooting in Tuscaloosa.
Tuscaloosa police responded about 6:30 p.m. Saturday to DCH Regional Medical Center after someone pulled up to the emergency room and dropped off a wounded man, said Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit Capt. Kip Hart.
The victim, a 56-year-old black male, was shot at least once in the torso. He was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
Hart said investigators learned the man had been shot outside a home in the 5000 block of Clover Road. Homicide detectives and crime scene technicians are processing the scene and interviewing witnesses. Two possible suspects have been identified.
The name of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his relatives.
